I am not sure if you are aware .. but I love Paris we went there for our mini-moon and I loved everything about it from the beautiful buildings to how they style their outfits .. effortless chic.
This autumn/winter Baukjen have come up trumps with that same effortless style, it (to me) has a feeling of the French chic that I love but with a hint of the 70’s & it is really all rather gorgeous, I have been lucky enough to be allowed to style a few outfits for them (honestly I really do have pinch myself) .. I knew that I wanted a location that would compliment the clothes as well look amazing itself .. and I knew exactly where to go, Verzon House a stunning hotel & restaurant near Ledbury with interiors to swoon over, food that is out of this world and the most lovely friendly staff you could wish for, its also where Mr W proposed to me and where I held my hen evening.
If this outfit doesn’t scream Parisian chic then I don’t know what will .. the classic Breton that goes with everything including the kitchen sink! .. the Amelie Top (its even named after my favourite film) has a lovely weight and thickness to it, so going out without a jacket would be fine (obviously not if its snowing though!), but also styling with a blazer, perhaps the Arwen would look c’est manifique.
The Gail Jeans are a new style for me and I have fallen in love them, with trainers they look great but I must admit I do love them with boots too, I think a beige pair of knee length heeled boots would look fabulous with them too .. these will be worn and worn throughout the year.
The essence of autumn with a fabulous vintage feel, the Rosemary Dress is quite simply stunning, the colours in this dress are rich and the detailing around the neckline is perfect, styled with long boots, heels or trainers it’ll look fabulous and come the colder days wearing a oversized cardigan or jacket will look perfect too. Its a dress for every occasion.
I am fairly new to blazer styling other than with the trousers or skirt it goes with as a work outfit, but the Arwen Blazer has completely turned my head (it does have matching trousers), but I love love LOVE how it looks styled with the Andie Skirt and a tee, the simplicity, cut & camel tone makes this blazer super easy to style with everything, I’m already thinking it will look great with the Gail Jeans, with or without a belt around your waist .. this is a sure fire winner in the wardrobe awards.
The Andie Skirt can be the best of both worlds, super casual styled with trainers, tee & blazer but would just a fabulous with heels and perhaps a fitted top or blouse for an evening out, made from the softest jersey it hangs beautifully and is a lovely length (I’m 5ft 8ish), its a classic that you’ll come back to time after time.
