So .. Phoebe has just turned 16 .. these years have gone by in a blink of an eye (I really don’t think i’m old enough to have a sixteen year old!)

Phoebe is my first .. she was born by emergency c-section, I was given a general anesthetic, so was not really aware of her until the following day, I had a of guilt about not being awake and able to breastfeed her straight away, she was a bouncing 7lb 9oz (whereas the boys were both under 5lbs!)
She was a very spirited and independent toddler / child, and was (at times) very particular about what she wore, she often had favourite items of clothing or outfits, which she would literally wear all the time, it was a washing and drying nightmare.

She is a lovely big sister to Archie and Harry, although at times can definitely put them in their place & be the bossy big sister that all big sisters should be (yep i’m the big sister too).
As she has grown she has kept her spirit and has a quiet confidence. She is very focused and works very hard at school & has the glowing reports to show for it, she’s a natural with languages and sports. With her GCSE year upon her I know she will study and work hard to achieve the results she wants / deserves, and will go on to A levels & University and have the career she wants.

Watching her grow and become this beautiful, thoughtful, spirited, independent, kind young woman has been a privilege. I am one proud mum.
Niki xx
