As I have said many many times I love instagram the community, support, friendships and opportunities. Saturday was just one of those amazing instagram “brought to real actual life” opportunities I talk about. Zyper Officical who I am very lucky to work with on the Boden campaign organised a Boden Ambassador meet up, I chat over instragam to lots of these lovely women, some of them I’ve been chatting to way before we became Boden Ambassadors, so to actually meet these lovely ladies was so so good.
The day started perfectly with me meeting the lovely Lucy (Pinaforesandpeonies) who I have been friends with for as long as I can remember, but this was also to be the first time we met and it was like we’d always been friends, instantly chatting away … and talking of our plans for the day .. we met early as we wanted to be very “insta” and find a florist of three and of course some very pretty London streets to take photos of each other … it worked out perfectly!
The next plan .. and one I had wanted to do for such a long time was to visit the mothership (for me) of the BODEN store .. it was like angels were singing as I entered the store (although it could have just been the music playing in the background), it was all I imagined it to be and a whole lot more, obviously I loved ALL the clothes but also the decor was I suppose just so “Boden” .. just perfect I could have spent the whole day there oohing and arrrrring over all the clothes .. but didn’t as we were off to meet more Boden fans / ambassadors.
Zyper Official had arranged for us to meet and the most amazing bar Mr Fogg’s House of Botanicals a totally how shall I put it .. although I think you can probably already guess .. instagramable venue .. which also happened to sell the most delish cocktails. As we went through the door we knew straight away who the other lovely Boden Ambassadors were, of course all wearing brand B!
There was as you can imagine a lot of chat and it really was wonderful to meet everyone face to face at long last, and of course there were lots of discussions about all thing brand B and insta, time as always passed so quickly and it was time to go .. what a fabulous mini adventure and day trip to beautiful London it had been meeting a lot of very lovely, kind ladies .. all bought together by the wonderful app of instagram and great organisational skills of Zyper Official.
I am really hoping that we all meet again soon.
