I do love a recipe that looks much more WOW than it is to make .. case in point is this amazingly simple tart .. that not only looks spectacular but also tastes amazing .. & is the easiest thing to put together .. no baking required .. can you hear those angels singing!
I have several wonderful cookery books (I see them a an extension to a coffee table book .. all those wonderful photos .. you just can’t beat it) … some are used regularly others not so much .. some have easy bake recipes that I know my whole family will enjoy others have meals that are just for those who would appreciate them and not pick out the mushrooms / peppers / onions .. you get my drift (even teens can be fussy not so little darlings) .. this is one recipe they all love .. and what’s not to love .. almonds & raspberries a classic mix.
So down to it .. the recipe .. this is from the Rachel Allen “Entertaining at Home” book .. seriously there some fabulous recipes in it .. and makes me want to throw a dinner party .. or six!
I know .. it really is that simple .. yet looks and tastes like heaven … I’d love to know whether you make this, and of course what you think of it … and as always any cookbooks you think I should have in my (ever expanding) collection please let me know.
