Last Friday evening was my hen meal, I was really looking forward to an evening spent with some of my favourite people and get a chance to dress up (any excuse really) .. it was an evening that did not disappoint.
The evening was held at Verzon House, a hotel, restaurant & beautiful venue which I love going to, its also where Mr W proposed to me, so it really does have special memories. I thought it would be great fun to do a “cocktail masterclass“, where you are shown by a professional how to make 3 different cocktails using Chase Vodka & Gin, we made “The Captain”, “English Cosmo” and “The Queen of Hearts” .. I really couldn’t tell you which was my favourite, I’d quite happily drink them all again. In total there were 8 of us which was perfect .. it was brilliant fun & the cocktails were amazing.
We then sat outside for a drink & chose what we were going to eat, it was glorious evening. Then it was time for food and we sat in the stunning restaurant … the food as you’d expect was delicious and presented in such an elegant way, of course we had fizz to compliment the food!
It really was a truly wonderful evening. Saturday morning however, was a slightly different experience … #mypoorhead!
Now with just 5 days till the wedding (as I write this) its all systems go. I am so so excited .. I will be taking about a billion photos (not an exaggeration!) .. and I’ll of course blog about it … so I’m going to raise my glass to a very exciting week … eeeeeeck 🙂
