The mornings are getting lighter and the evenings longer, colourful flowers are popping up slowly and there is change in the air .. spring is on its way .. and everyone is excited for its arrival, but of course as usual the good old weather here in Blighty is keeping us on our toes .. with the occasional cold blustery day & of course the odd springtime shower, so the dilemma is always “what should I wear?” .. I’m going to honest and say .. I am so over the winter woolies and having about 20 layers on, I want to shed those layers and feel free .. I know that’s slightly dramatic …. I’m sure I’m destined to win an Oscar … Mr W certainly thinks so .. sorry I’ve digressed!
So in these in-between days its sometime difficult to know what to wear, now don’t get me wrong, I really don’t mind layering, but now I want to layer in the spring way .. lighter & brighter and Baukjen have covered all those bases in their usual classic and fabulous style,
The classic white shirt and jeans, is a wardrobe staple that can be relied on again and again, sleeves up .. or sleeves down its truly classic … the Ellen Safari Shirt is the softest shirt I have ever owned, its a relaxed style shirt and perfect for every occasion, teamed with the Boyfriend Jean its a classic outfit, another bit of honesty here too, I am new to the whole “boyfriend” style of jean .. my usual go to is the skinny which I love, but I now have another favourite, its such a complimentary style (you’ll be seeing me in the white style of these jeans very soon).
If the weather takes a turn, the all you need to add is this amazing (yes I’m totally in love) Clarke Trench, its a wardrobe essential, a coat that will last you for years, and certainly one that will never fail to disappoint you.
But there are days when you just need to get your legs out & yes of course I faked tanned, otherwise you’d think there were two bottles of milk hanging down from my dress!
So let me introduce this gorgeous gorgeous (yes there are meant to be two gorgeous’s) Dara Shirt Dress, it floats beautifully, the pattern is fun and vibrant, you will want to sashay whilst wearing it .. it really does make you feel FAB-U-LOUS darling.
And once again should the weather “turn” then all you need to add is the classic Clarke Trench, it really does compliment everything you put it with.
Can you see the smile on my face .. this is pure happiness, I’ve got my spring wardrobe all sewn up no matter what the weather throws at me .. although I’m obviously hoping for sunny and rainless days .. I’ve got a feeling that we’re all on the same page though with that one!
