Well what can I say .. I went a little bit back to the 70’s with this non bake bake … which I believe is a very modern thing to do .. “retro” I think its called .. but whichever way it is I am so pleased I did .. its something a little bit different and so easy to make (don’t worry cheesecake connoisseurs I am working my way toward the baked version) … and a pure joy to lick the bowl of .. no I didn’t call the kids to do this one .. sometimes you’ve just got to take one for the team!
Is there anything better than a biscuity firm bottom .. I think not .. and this is just was you get .. a gorgeous piece of firmness after all they sweet conserve, cream and cream cheese .. it is basically heaven on a spoon (or fork whichever you’d rather).
This cheesecake is something that you can make in the morning and by dinner its ready to be brought to the table with gasps of “wow” and “this looks cool” .. yep those were the actual words used, not by me I hasten to add, but by my gang .. it is most definitely a bit of a showstopper as far as puddings go ..especially for mine gang as usually they don’t get one!
