I cannot believe how quickly time flies .. last week I went and had a completely amazing day in London .. a day where I’d finally met some gorgeous people who I have been waffling to for quite a while.
I was invited to visit the lovely team at Baukjen for a summer preview, I have been working with them for about a year or so now and I can honestly say that in that time I feel their style & clothing has gone from strength to strength, with each new season and drop getting better and better … It is such a privilege to see them bloom and grow.
The latest collections which will available soon are … how shall I put it .. utterly stunning from simple broderie anglaise blouses and dresses to striking patterns, beautiful bold & bright colours to soft florals & the occasional check .. all perfect for those spring and summer days .. that are so near now.
We got to the opportunity to try on all the latest lines .. this dress was definitely one of my favourites, the rich colour & style paired with flat sandals is perfect for summer days or dress it up it up for a summers evening out with heeled sandals & a clutch .. simple elegant styling at its best.
The preview was held in the Baukjen offices .. which as you can imagine are gorgeously light & airy and with inspiration everywhere you look .. I loved it and could have spent the whole day there .. but sadly trains had to be caught .. there was always something that would catch my eye.
I know I mentioned the wonderful girls behind the emails .. who have from the very beginning been so kind & encouraging to me, who always reply so kindly to my often long & rather waffly emails .. it was the icing (& cherry) on top of the very delicious cake to finally meet them .. and I am hoping that it won’t be too long before we all meet again and talk all things from Baukjen to dance classes to teenagers .. and a whole lot more.
