Green fingers (I hope)

I love love love this time of year .. the season where gardens slowly start to come alive, when we see new shoots of life, when flowers start to bud showing their promise of colour and scent .. it really does make such a difference to how we use our outdoor space … it becomes an extra room to our homes.

This year after many a year thinking about .. but never quite doing .. I thought I would see if I could & would be able to grown some pretty flowers myself (I mean how difficult can it be) instead of buying them “ready made”. I knew the perfect place to go was TUSK Collection for a few perfectly stylish gardening products as well as some rather beautiful seeds & future instagrammable flowers .. what can go wrong!

So armed with all my stylish products and absolutely zero knowledge I got to work planting my seeds .. a mixture of Cornflowers into a gorgeous tin tub and Cosmos & Phlox into some terracotta pots I already had .. I added added few stones on top & then covered the pots with fleece to keep them warm and snuggly during these cooler springs morning & evenings.

Now all I need is a lot of luck as I will them to grow .. I will of course keep you all updated as to whether they are a success or failure (please be the first) .. and perhaps I should maybe put the odd gardening book or three into my ever increasing amazon basket!
